Oh, the DRAMA of a beautiful backlit image! I love it! There doesn’t have to be drama involved in SHOOTING backlit images though. You just have to understand the light and how to work with it. Join me for Let There Be Light: Backlight and I will take you on a two day journey and we will explore many forms of backlight.

You’ll see me use Backlight on a sunny day and on a not so sunny day. I’ll go over metering for backlight and talk about how to properly expose for skin in a backlight situation, as well as how to avoid haze in your images. We’ll cover what to do when you are losing the light and how you can use the environment creatively to get the best out of ALL your backlit images.
